Simple terms for buying from a local GTA rug store. Our stock is limited and often one-of-one, and payments are processed securely by a third-party provider.
Orders, payment and adjustments
Orders are subject to product availability and confirmation. Refunds, cancellations, and order adjustments are handled according to the Modohaus Return Policy. Payment processing is handled securely through a third-party payment provider. Modohaus does not store full card details.
About Modohaus
Modohaus is a local business selling area rugs and home décor in Mississauga and across the Greater Toronto Area. You can order online through this website and choose pickup near Meadowvale Rotary Park in Mississauga, or local delivery where courier service is available.
Our inventory
Our rugs are limited-inventory items and many are one-of-one. Because stock is limited, an item shown as available may sell before your order is finalized. Each listing shows the price and condition up front so you know exactly what you're buying.
Condition of items
Much of our inventory is liquidation and customer-return stock. We describe each item honestly on its listing, including any relevant condition notes. We do not promise that any item is brand-new, perfect, stain-free, or unused unless that is specifically stated on the product listing. Where applicable, we encourage you to inspect an item before purchase or at pickup.
Orders and payment
When you place an order and pay online, you're making an offer to buy the item(s) in your cart. Payment is processed securely through a third-party payment provider; Modohaus does not store your full card details. Your order is confirmed once payment is successful.
If an item becomes unavailable
Occasionally an item may become unavailable after payment (for example, if two customers order the same one-of-one rug at nearly the same time). If that happens, we'll contact you and you can choose a full refund or another available item.
Pickup and delivery
For pickup, the exact address is provided after your order is completed - please wait for our confirmation before arriving. For delivery, pricing is shown at checkout and orders are usually arranged for the next day or within 2–3 days after payment, depending on courier availability and your area.
